Black and White Film

Developing further on my work into Ansel Adams I have decided to use black and white film photography as this is the medium in which Ansel Adams created his work.

I feel that the image above is one of the best because of how well the film has worked with the highlights in the photo which bring out the organic shapes of the rocks as well as helping to show the textures in both the rocks and the sea.
Unlike the previous photo the photo below portrays a calm and peaceful atmosphere because of how still the water is.When framing the image I have used the rocks in the foreground to enhance the depth of field, this along with the vantage point that this photo is taken from shows how vast the landscape is. 
By using black and white film to take these photos I feel that it adds a aged feeling to the photos which is only improved upon the scratches which as well as adding age also add a uniqueness to each photo.
