Here in another attempt to create melting flowers I have again used the liquify tool within Photoshop to merge colours together and create drips so that it appears as thought the flowers are melting.
I think that this image works well because of the the limited colours which keep the image simple while along with the black and white contrast. The use of the liquefy effect to this extent means that it looks like the flower is melting without losing all of the detail from the image.
I feel that the image below came out the best because of the vibrant colours which work well with the melting effect. I restricted the colour palette to mainly reds and yellows as these are warm yet bold colours. In this image I have also added a vignette which further directs the viewers attention to the subject o the photo.
